I am a graduate of Northumbria University where I studied Film & Television Production. My ambition is to become a film editor. At University I found editing to be a perfect career choice for myself as its technical challenges, complexity, and overall visual creativity is something I enjoy when making films.

I have completed and passed Avid Media Composer Fundamentals 1 (MC101).

For my final production at University, I chose to be the director as well as the editor as this allowed me full creative control in all pre-production, production and post-production aspects. I also filmed various shots throughout the film which were used in the final cut.

In addition to attending University, I also have experience working with two production companies. The first being Roundhouse Pictures based in Fenham, Newcastle upon Tyne, where I participated in making a Documentary and a Short Film which are both on Vimeo. 

The second company I have worked with is Northern Film and Media which is also based in Newcastle, where I was involved in the making of five Channel 4 SPARKS comedy sketches alongside Roundhouse Pictures, which were all showcased on Channel 4's social media sites.
